Low calorie persian salmon rice recipe substitutions

To make this Persian Salmon Rice recipe lower calorie, there are a few substitutions you could make. Firstly, you could use brown rice instead of basmati rice. Brown rice has more fiber and nutrients than white rice, so it will leave you feeling full for longer with fewer calories. You could also use a non-stick spray instead of olive oil to fry the salmon, as this will reduce the overall fat content of the dish. For the onion and spice mixture, you could reduce the amount of butter used and use low-fat butter or margarine instead.
