How long does persian salmon rice last in the fridge?
Persian salmon rice can be stored in the fridge for up to four days after cooking. It is important to store the rice in an airtight container to prevent bacteria growth. When reheating, make sure the rice is heated thoroughly to an internal temperature of at least 165°F to ensure it is safe to eat. Additionally, if you plan to freeze the rice, it can last up to three months in the freezer, but it may lose some of its texture and flavor after being thawed.
Low calorie persian salmon rice recipe substitutions
To make this Persian Salmon Rice recipe lower calorie, there are a few substitutions you could make. Firstly, you could use brown rice instead of basmati rice. Brown rice has more fiber and nutrients than white rice, so it will leave you feeling full for longer with fewer calories. You could also use a non-stick spray instead of olive oil to fry the salmon, as this will reduce the overall fat content of the dish. For the onion and spice mixture, you could reduce the amount of butter used and use low-fat butter or margarine instead. Finally, you could omit the raisins and slivered almonds or use smaller amounts of these ingredients, as they are both quite high in calories. These substitutions will make the dish lower in calories and healthier, while still retaining its delicious taste and flavor.
